We are looking for a sales advisor / measurer & estimator to join our Soft Furnishings department at our family run 45,000 square foot superstore in Diss. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving, growing and important element of our business with future potential to progress and grow alongside the department. Although experience is preferred, this opportunity is open to any driven, motivated and outgoing individual who is willing to learn and eager to join a new and exciting industry. An interest or previous experience within Interior Design would also be desirable, however, we will be happy to support the successful applicant on any relevant interior design and soft furnishing courses.

This role requires a focus on engaging and delighting our Customers in delivering a market leading customer experience both in-store and on-site.

This is a customer-facing role that involves providing a high level of customer service, as you will assist in providing advice to customers in-store as well as offering demonstrations and recommendations to help meet the customers needs where necessary. When in-store, the successful applicant will help with day-to-day tasks within the Soft Furnishings department such as pricing and updating shop displays.

Using your customer service skills, you will be responsible for attending customer appointments on-site and on time to measure their desired window area. Following our company procedure [which you will be trained in] you will then price each desired area in line with their chosen window dressing product [curtains, blinds or shutters]. When in customer’s properties, you will be an ambassador for the John Doe brand, bringing to life our company values and delivering the consistently outstanding customer experience that we’ve come to be known for.

**WORKING HOURS**:

- Successful applicant will be required to work 5 days a week
- Full UK driving license essential
- Van provided for measures and estimates with fuel costs covered
- Salary will be based on experience and credentials
