**Maintenance Engineer - Injection Moulding**

Permanent contract

Hours of work - Monday to Thursday - 8:00 - 20:00 42.5 Hours per week

Overtime available

We are looking for a professional, efficient, meticulous, and self-motivated individual with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload.

**Roles & Responsibilities - Maintenance Engineer**:

- The Maintenance Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager, based on the production floor.
- Maintaining all plant machinery to ensure safe, continual, and efficient operations.
- Ensuring that periodic and preventive maintenance works are completed and that troubleshooting and maintenance support is provided at all times.
- Update records of work activities, tasks carried out, via asset management software.
- Work closely with manufacturers, suppliers and others within the technical team to find ways to improve production and increase machine reliability and performance.
- Have experience of working in a **plastic injection moulding environment**.
- Ideally have experience with Negri Bossi, Haitian or Victor Machinery.
- Experience with hydraulics & compressed air.
- Experience with Chillers, Compressors and Material feed systems.
- Experience of electric motors, three phase systems and various automation related electrical components.
- Experience with pick and place robots.
- Be able to trouble shoot and repair injection moulding machinery
- Experience with 22 to 800 ton injection moulding presses.
- Qualifications in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering to at least ONC level.
- A Methodical approach to maintenance and repair of machinery.
- Maintain and develop the 5s principles and be accustomed to working in that environment.
- Overhead Crane Licence (preferred but can be supplied)
