We are looking to add a new secretary to our existing friendly, hardworking team.

**x1 vacancy for 10 hours per week across 2 days.**

The Chislehurst Partnership is a friendly high achieving suburban partnership in the London Borough of Bromley with a countryside feel. Currently operating from two sites (The Chislehurst Medical Practice & The Woodlands Practice) there are 9 partners, with 6 salaried doctors and full complement of nurses including ANP and HCA.

This role is to support the practice by delivering an efficient, caring and respectful service to our patients. We require our secretary to provide a friendly and helpful primary care service on behalf of the practice. The core duties are listed below all of which are to be completed with a professional and courteous manner whilst ensuring strict confidentiality of our patient’s records.

Main duties of the role (not an exhaustive list):

- To provide an efficient service for GPs and the practice managers and other health professionals as required. This includes the typing of letters, reports, and patient referrals via e-Referral system.
- Monitor hospital referral letters via the e-Referral system and update GP’s when required advising of any rejections or queries.
- Send 2WW (Two Week Wait) referrals by the appropriate system as presented and ensure the referral is recorded appropriately
- Check that 2WW referrals have been attended and report any DNAs to the referring GP
- Deal with hospital enquiries - results, appointments etc
- To establish and maintain filing and administrative systems so that written or computer information is easily accessible and secure
- To receive incoming and initiate outgoing telephone calls in order to facilitate timely and appropriate communications with others, taking messages and dealing with appropriate queries
- To invoice and record payments for insurance/solicitor requests.
- Provide holiday/sickness cover for your colleagues as agreed
- Any other duties reasonable to your position

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £11.44 per hour
