Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to: Performing appropriate clinical assessments and to design and implement safe and progressive exercise treatment schedules for all patients after the Medical Officer (MO)/Physiotherapist/Clinical Team Manager (DMRC only) has made a diagnosis. Ensuring that high standards of confidentiality, recording, filing and storage of patient notes and statistical information are achieved and maintained iaw local policy. Attending specialist/review clinics, providing an update of each patient to the clinical lead for the patient/group and the provision of progress and other clinical reports, as directed. Communicating effectively with patients to ensure informed consent for treatment, good understanding of their conditions and maximise their rehabilitation potential.

Facilitating effective communication and co-operation with all other departmental/Unit and external medical personnel from other agencies/units.
