Bookkeeper

Our client is a well established Chartered Firm based in Hertford who are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their well established team.

The business encourages development and will offer study support if you are currently studying for your AAT or ACCA/CIMA qualifications.

The main duties:

- Maintaining a large client portfolio - all services from bookkeeping, sage assistance, management and year end accounts
- Preparing year end accounts from client back ups and completing final file ready with queries and explanations for client meetings
- Training junior members of staff and reviewing their work
- Attending client premises for regular bookkeeping/management accounts/training
- Preparing VAT Returns and submitting via MTD where necessary
- Use of Sage 50, Sage One, Iris and Quickbooks
- Dealing with client queries, communicating with HMRC
- Assisting in general office duties where necessary

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
