**The organisation**

Here at Merthyr Tydfil Housing Association, we are passionate about providing quality and well maintained homes exclusively for people living within the borough of Merthyr Tydfil. We are a community-based Housing Association, providing exceptional services to all our customers.

We are only a small Housing Association, currently managing c.1200 units, with a turnover of £6m and a staff base of 45. However, we punch well above our weight, particularly with our ongoing development programme, which will continue to increase over the next couple of years.

**The opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service and Rents Administrator to join our busy Rents and Reception team to help us ensure we provide a professional service for all our contract holders.

You will be required to ensure that full administrative support is provided to the Rents team in maintaining and updating the computerised rent accounting system in managing current and former tenant arrears and providing basic advice and support to tenants regarding welfare benefits.

Following the Associations policies and procedures and working alongside stakeholders both internally and externally, this is a busy and varied role that has the opportunity to make a real difference to our contract holders.

You will have exceptional communication skills, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service within the local community.

Interviews are planned to take place at the MTHA offices and are likely to take place during w/c 17th April 2023.
