We are recruiting an HR Administrator to join our large and dynamic HR team in Stockton-on-Tees. This is a fast-paced and busy role, working within a lively and supportive team. You will be responsible for providing a customer-focused service that supportsthe long-term vision of the People Hub, which includes administering the whole employee lifecycle for Sopra Steria. whilst building strong working relationships with business Manager’s and key people. You will ensure that all HR administration is completedin an agreed format to a required standard, and supporting the business to meet their objectives. We offer hybrid working and benefits which you can flex to meet your needs. The role will be office based initially, with the option to work hybrid once trained.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Processing new starters, issuing Terms and Conditions within set timescales, monitoring ID information, informing necessary supporting departments of the starter to ensure all arrangements are completed
- Checking and processing Employment Change Forms and issuing confirmation letters and/or amendments to Terms and Conditions of employment
- Processing leavers within set timescales and inform necessary supporting departments of the leaver to ensure all termination arrangements are completed
- Issuing reference requests for new employees and completing employment reference requests, monitoring referee information, chasing the employee within set timescales before escalating to the appropriate Line Manager
- Run required audit reports in accordance with the Audit Governance for People Administration
- Provide administrative support to the Employee Relations team in respect of letters; Redundancy quotes and other documentation as and when required

**What you will bring**:

- Strong administration background with the ability to priortise and handle large volumes of work with multiple demands
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and work unsupervised within set SLAs
- Positive approach to customer service with a 'can-do' attitude
- Experience of team work

**It would be great if you had**:

- Experience working within HR
- Knowledge of HR administration procedures
- Experiencing delivering customer service over the phone
