**Location**:Initially based at our Head office in Eldon Street, Thornaby, Stockton-on
- Tees, TS17- hybrid working is potentially available.

**Hours**: 37 hours per week

**Responsible to**:Reporting to Financial Inclusion Manager (Lending)

**Salary Scale**:£22500 - £24000

**Contract Period**: Permanent

**Job Purpose**:
As part of the lending team, you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of key customer lending decisions and outcomes. The decisions you make will help us to achieve our vision of making our customers more financial resilient whilst providing them with the financial support to allow them to become more fully included in the financial world.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- To support and enhance the delivery of Five Lamps Financial Inclusion programme, ensuring maximum participation of the target customer group. Making sure that loans are assessed and processed in line with internal policies and external legislation/guidance.
- To be responsible to our customer base via decisions and communications. Ensuring service quality and standards meet our end-to-end focus.
- Ensure that customers are offered the best product for their needs taking into account current and future circumstances.
- To achieve and where possible exceed individual and team performance targets.
- To have a firm understanding of the Loan Management System and the products which can be offered to customers.
- To maintain detailed records of customer activity on the loan management system.
- To ensure that all administrative and lending processes comply with existing legislation and where necessary challenge the status quo to make sure of compliance and best practice.
- To assist other departments as necessary which means fostering and playing a part in a ‘one and done’ culture whereby the customer can speak to one person and have their situation/issue resolved.
- To demonstrate a commitment to your own personal development.
- To maintain knowledge of best practice in this Lending space via training, own development and industry reviews.
- To be a positive role model and promote Five Lamps its services and to ensure that a professional image is always portrayed to customers and colleagues alike.

**Salary**: £22,500.00-£24,000.00 per year
