**About The Role**:
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a **Technical **Assistant** to join our operational team on an a 24 month apprenticeship scheme.
- Work closely with factory operational/hygiene/QA and engineering departments
- Assist in preparation of audits and support with site audits
- Involved in the trending/investigation of customer complaints
- Update Senior Management on any changes to policies/Industry guidance/Horizon scanning on products specific to site
- Supporting preparation, checking and ensuring implementation of Food Safety culture within the Company
- Prepare, co-ordinate and administrate the benchmarking and Taste Panels including regular store visit
- Investigate feedstock/supply issues to assist in site investigations.
- Assist in traceability exercises
- Supporting the site to hit KPI’s in a timely manner
- Support technical standards, systems and processes in line with site strategy
- Be a team player but with the ability to work on your own initiative
- Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines through your ability to prioritise competing objectives

**The hours for this role are 8:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.**

- Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines through your ability to prioritise competing objectives
- Maths and English qualification & computer literate - Desirable
