An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent full or part-time Higher-Level Nursing Assistant to join our busy and ever-expanding Endoscopy Units.

We operate a 5 day a week service, 8am until 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Whilst experience in working in Endoscopy Unit would be desirable it is not essential as a full training in all aspects of the job role will be given.

Endoscopy services are based in both Warrington and Halton Endoscopy hospital sites. We have an excellent department, delivering a high-quality Endoscopy Service that is proud to be JAG Accredited.

To provide clean endoscopes for use on a variety of endoscopy lists and endoscopy procedures as required.

Responsible for the recording and monitoring equipment testing and quality assurance on endoscopes escalating any issues identified.

To work under the supervision of the senior nurses and with other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide the physical and emotion care for both inpatients and outpatients undergoing a variety of endoscopic medical and surgical procedures on the department.

**Responsible for**: The care, maintenance, training, and record keeping of all equipment and accessories that require decontamination. To adhere to the Standards of Decontamination in line with Trust Policy, local and national guidance. To assist in the care of patients under the supervision of professionally qualified staff.

**Job Summary**: To work in a collaborative and supportive environment with members of the multidisciplinary team. To carry out care and treatment tasks, delegated from professionally qualified staff, requiring a range of technical ability, numeracy, and literacy skills as well as a significant level of interpersonal skills and manual dexterity.
