We are currently seeking a skilled **Payroll Officer** to join our client in Anglesey on a 12-month FTC contract. As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payroll for our organisation.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Process weekly and monthly payroll efficiently and accurately.
- Utilise time and attendance systems to track employee hours and ensure accurate payment.
- Demonstrate proficient spreadsheet skills to manage payroll data effectively.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for employees, including processing starters, leavers, and any changes to employment details.
- Act as the main point of contact for payroll queries from employees and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Real Time Information (RTI) regulations and handle HMRC reporting requirements effectively.
To be successful in this role you will have good Payroll Officerexperience. You will have strong system skills including excel. You will be able to work with speed and accuracy. You will have a strong work ethic, be organised and methodical and be able to multitask. You will be personable and a great team player.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in payroll processing is essential.
- Strong understanding of payroll systems and processes.
- Excellent spreadsheet skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with employees and external agencies.
- Knowledge of RTI and HMRC reporting requirements is preferred.
**Salary Range & Benefits**
The salary for this role is circa £30,000 and is based onsite. The company also offers excellent benefits including onsite parking and cycle to work scheme. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
