About the role:
Monday to Friday | Salary £34,000 per annum.

Oversee and coordinate a team of up to 11 warehouse operatives for daily activities including unloading & loading of trailers, inventory, storage, order picking, loading, and any other warehouse related activities, reporting directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure Health & Safety policies are being adhered to by all members of the warehouse, including any visitors.
- Monitor team performance reporting any concerns.
- Overlook and ensure the team follow all inbound and outbound processes.
- Implement any continuous improvements raised by yourself or the team, reporting any improvements to the Warehouse Manager.
- Raise any discrepancies to your line Manager immediately.
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, storing and despatch ensuring quality of goods.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehouse activities and employee performance.
- Ensure all orders are processed correctly, and all deliveries are suitable for delivery, based on customer requirements.
- Plan staffing levels and assign daily activities.
- Identify areas of improvement and best practices
- Liaise with sales / accounts ensuring customer issues are resolved.

About you:

- Previous Warehouse Supervisor / Team Leader responsibilities.
- Good decision maker.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel.
- Hands on leading the team.
- Good communication skills.
- Team motivation skills.
- Strong management skills.
- Flexible during peak operating periods.
- Positive attitude to work.
