Warehouse Operative

My client is well established in their field

They are now seeking an experienced warehouse operative to join their established team on a permanent basis

08.30 - 17.30, Monday - Friday

**Main Purpose**
The picking, packing and despatch of customer orders, the control of stock and production of bill of material items

**Key Task's**
- To ensure all sales despatches are picked in a timely and accurate manner
- The accuracy of stock movements and stock accuracy within agreed levels and stock adjustments (where necessary)
- Responsible for the safe operation of the warehouse and for implementing company health and safety policies
- The safe and secure storage of materials within the warehouse
- The accurate and timely production of kitted parts
- Other duties as directed by supervision

NOTE: KPI’s will include Stock Accuracy, Lines Picked per Person,

**Required Skills and Competencies**
- Good understanding of Warehouse Operations and material storage procedures and systems, including safe loading and working practices
- Strong eye for detail, good level of numeracy
- Good communication skills
- IT skills, particularly Merlin and MS Excel and Outlook and advantage
- Current valid FLT-Reach Truck licence an advantage
- Knowledge of working with stock systems and system generated pick-lists and paperwork
- Reliable
- Experience of working in a high volume fast paced warehouse
- Hard working ethic

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £9.70 per hour
