Barista

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Barista to join our team in creating and serving delicious coffee and beverages in a fast-paced cafe environment.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate coffee making equipment including espresso machines and grinders
- Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area including counters, equipment, and seating areas
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as simple sandwiches and pastries

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety regulations when handling and preparing food and beverages
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work well in a team environment and help colleagues when needed
