Due to our last Marketing Apprentice completing their qualification and being promoted to a new role within the business, we now require a new Marketing Apprentice to join the Waylands Group. The role is to assist the small but growing marketing team in maintaining and developing the Group’s online presence whilst delivering a premium experience.

We will enrol you in a Marketing apprenticeship and support you through your studies.

An understanding of social media is essential and an awareness of online marketing is required. You will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with an eye for detail. You’ll drive online brand awareness and customer engagement following our partner brand guidelines at all times.

This role requires an ‘always on’ attitude in this evolving digital period. Speed of response is essential in todays social media market and you will be required to adhere to this wherever possible. You’ll be joining a fast-paced environment and will be required to work pro-actively on various projects in all areas of the business. You must have an interest in modern technology and be a keen problem solver. This role can be broad at times so someone who is happy to get involved in all areas is a must

You will need a good understanding of data and will be required to use Excel for producing monthly reports.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Research, create and schedule engaging content for organic social media posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIN. You will be the online voice of Waylands and responsible for any online engagements
- Keep up to date with brand news and ensuring all of our social media platforms are reflective of this
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends
- Respond in a polite and friendly manner to social media engagements. You will ensure they receive the same premium experience online as they would in our showrooms offline
- Visit branches within the Waylands Group to aid content creation for social media, customer communications and website SEO content
- Work closely with sales and aftersales teams to ensure good knowledge of products, campaigns and offers
- Support the planning of, and attend, offsite product placements
- Assist with monthly reports and administration tasks
- Assist with the development of overall group marketing activity
