Pastoral Lead required for a busy Wolverhampton Secondary School. Are you an experienced Pastoral Lead or Head of Year with experience supporting children with challenging behaviours? Do you have an outstanding understanding of safeguarding policies andprocedures? This School is looking for a Pastoral Lead to support Across Key Stages 3 & 4, working closely with an experienced team of teaching and support staff. The school is looking for a Pastoral Lead who is able to build rapport effectively with students,managing challenging behaviours and most importantly, make a difference.
As a Pastoral Lead you will be working with the DSL, to ensure that all student are supported appropriately. You will also be involved in training and supporting staff members around safeguarding and behaviour management.This school requires a resilient,dynamic and proactive Pastoral Lead who is committed to making a difference. Leadership are excellent, and are dedicated to giving every child a second chance. Behaviour is challenging and many children within the learning hub have an EHCP and a dedicated1-2-1 TA. This pastoral Lead role requires experience working within a similar setting, and experience as a Pastoral Lead, Head of Year, or Behaviour Lead is Essential.
Job Role:

- Supporting teachers and TA’s in managing challenging behaviours
- Delivering positive intervention sessions for students
- Ensuring that schools safeguarding and behaviour policies are adhered to
- Working with outside agencies to support children
- Acting as a positive role model and inspiration for students
