Rm Technician

**Job Title: Product Design Graduate / Resistant Material Technician**

**Location: Brent, London**

**Type of Contract: Full Time, Long-Term**

**Starting Date: ASAP**

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support for teachers and students in the Resistant Materials department.
- Maintain equipment and resources, ensuring they are kept in good condition and are available for use.
- Support the teaching of Resistant Materials to students, including health and safety procedures and the use of machinery and tools.
- Work with the department to develop and deliver engaging lessons and projects that inspire and challenge students.
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies, materials, and techniques, and share this knowledge with the department.

**Requirements**:

- A degree in Product Design or a related field.
- Experience working with Resistant Materials, including knowledge of machinery and tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage resources effectively.
- A commitment to promoting health and safety in the Resistant Materials department.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.

This is a full-time, long-term position, commencing ASAP and running until the end of the academic year in the first instance. Working hours are 36 hours per week, with a starting rate of £13.50 per hour.
