**up to £26k + £3,000 bonus**

Charles Hurst Accident Repair Centre, Dunmurry, is recruiting for a Trainee Bodyshop Estimator/Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our Bodyshop team and support our Estimator and work alongside our amazing Cosmetic repair technicians to provide a professional a friendly service to our Charles Hurst customers.

Headed up by our fantastic manager Richard Simpson, who has a wealth of experience within Charles Hurst, you will receive ongoing training to develop your career. You will ensure that customers’ vehicles are accurately and fully assessed for damage and the repairs that are required.

As a Bodyshop Estimator for our Dunmurry ARC, you will support and manage the customer through the vehicle accident repair journey. You will be trained and coached to update your customer throughout the process, then arranging to hand the car back to the customer at repair completion, with a goal of delivering end to end customer satisfaction. Supporting the Estimator with inspecting and assessing damage on vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage. You will ensure that authority to proceed with repairs to customers vehicles is obtained and documented and ensure the efficient use of materials, equipment and labour resources. You will also be responsible for welcoming customers to site, you will ensure all visitors consistently receive a professional and courteous welcome.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accurately and professionally assess a wide range of vehicles
- Recording a list of damages that need to be repaired
- Providing quotations on work to be carried out.
- Liaise with Insurance Companies and prepare insurance forms to ensure all requirements have been met.
- Liaise with customers on work required and to keep them informed.

Qualifications:
For this role we are looking for someone who will have experience in the automotive industry, coming from a parts or service background. You will need to have a full driving licence with a good driving record.

You will also be a team player with a strong attention to details and a focus on quality. Being able to plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are repaired to the agreed service level agreements (SLA’S) and be able to work to a high standard in a fast-paced environment.
