We are recruiting a Domestic Assistant to be part of a team performing a high standard of general domestic cleaning. Based at our Creative Campus but may be required to work across University sites.

16 hours per week: 7am - 10am for 4 days & 7am - 11.00am for 1 day

**Key Tasks**
To ensure all high touch areas across the campus are sanitised routinely.
To replenish various dispensers, e.g. paper towels, soap, toilet rolls etc.
To undertake general cleaning duties, including floors, sanitary areas, kitchen areas, paintwork, and other hard surfaces.
To undertake general cleaning duties such as dusting, polishing, vacuuming, scrubbing and buffing.
To undertake cleaning of furniture, fitments, appliances and equipment.
To ensure all bins and containers are emptied daily and cleaned where necessary, and that correct liners/bin bags are provided and that all refuse is placed in the appropriate place for collection.
To clean internal glass.
To ensure breakages are reported to Domestic Team Leader
To undertake any other duties as appropriate to the grade which may be required from time to time.
Adhere to all University and Domestic Services Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Work flexibly when required including some weekends.
Any other duties relevant to the roles.

**Work Performed**
Assist Domestic Services Team in the daily sanitising and cleaning duties.
Remove rubbish from University premises.
Operate any cleaning machinery when required in a safe manner.
Make up/turn around University residences when required.
Work autonomously when required away from the University main campus.
Work additional hours when requested.
Follow Domestic Services Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments
Undertake any training required to the role.
Report any problems, issues, accidents etc. superiors

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From £9,330.00 per year

Expected hours: 16 per week
