We are seeking an experienced and skilled General Builder to join our client’s team of passionate heritage and conservation experts. As a General Builder, you will play a crucial role in the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures, ensuring that they retain their charm and authenticity. Your work will contribute to the ongoing legacy of our company and the cultural heritage of the region.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform general construction tasks, including bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, and plasterwork.
- Carry out restoration and conservation work on heritage buildings and structures.
- Ensure the use of traditional building techniques and materials in line with conservation standards.
- Work with a team of craftsmen to complete projects with precision and attention to detail.
- Interpret and follow architectural plans and historical documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, preservationists, and other professionals to achieve project objectives.
- Maintain a safe and organized worksite and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of the work by paying attention to historical accuracy and conservation ethics.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a General Builder with a focus on heritage and conservation works.
- Knowledge of traditional building techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to preserving historical structures and cultural heritage.
- Appropriate certifications or licenses, where required.

**How to Apply**:
**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
