Information/Advice and Assistance (IAA) Support Workers will work within Children’s Services attached to the Intake and Early Assessment Team and Early Help Hub, responding to enquires about social care and supporting members of the public in accessing the right support at the right time. The support worker will be expected to provide appropriate information, advice and assistance to service users and carers concerning Council services, health services, welfare benefits and access to other services provided by voluntary organisations and Families First. The support worker will ensure that this support is provided in keeping with departmental and voluntary sector objectives and agreed standards and practice.
