**Full Job Description - Welder & Fabricator

**Company description

The company based in Weston-Super-Mare design and manufacture high quality products and undertake a wide variety of contracts. We pride ourselves on the production of quality products for high calibre commercial customers who expect exacting standards in all areas.

Applicants will be asked to attend an interview & weld test during business hours and will be made by appointment made by ourselves:

- Mon -Thur 7.30am - 4pm
- Fri 7.30am - 1.30pm

**Job description

**Essential skills & experience:
- Good general knowledge of fabrication and TIG/MIG Welding to high standard, along with an understanding of sheet metal and framework.
- Efficient working practice, working smarter not harder, experience of meeting production targets, with a focus on speed and quality at the same time.
- Reading, understanding, and working to technical drawings to Fabricate metal assemblies.
- Metal finishing, grinding and sanding to ensure products are ready for paint/powder coating.
- Responsible for Identifying weld quality, parts, jigs and fixture types to enable you to complete the welding process of all metal assemblies.
- Good workstation management ensuring all equipment is shutdown safely, tidied away and cleaned down at end of the day.
- Good attitude towards Health & Safety compliance and safe working practices.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Team Player - We strive to become better at what we do We encourage the sharing of knowledge to help with efficiencies, improving production and pushing the business forward.
- Good attitude and time keeping essential.

Desirable:
- Cutting, drilling, tapping & grinding experience.
- Any experience of machining and folding/brake press work.
- Forklift operator certificate

**Job Types**:
Full-time, Permanent

**Salary:
£13 - £17 per hour (Depending on experience)
