A new opportunity for an ambitious **Analytical Chemist** with one of the UK's biggest biotech companies has become available, working in their R&D division in Oxford (OX4).

Working for a pioneering Next Generation Sequencing company, this exciting and challenging role is responsible for developing methods for the analysis and purification of peptides using analytical and preparative HPLC-MS.

**Analytical Chemist** duties include:

- Developing purification and characterisation strategies, primarily using HPLC.
- Maintenance of purification equipment.
- Analytical method development using HPLC and LC-MS.
- Managing multiple projects in a very fast paced and agile environment.
- Working and communicating effectively with other groups, primarily in Research and Development.

The ideal **Analytical Chemist** will have a BSc or MSc in Chemistry or Biochemistry and possess some relevant lab skills which they are keen to develop in a fast paced environment.
