Overview:
We are searching for an experience materials buyer to work alongside our other teams, based at our Head Office and factory in Hull.

As buyer, you will be responsible for the raw materials and components as required by our manufacturing facility, along with packaging and consumables used throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Overseeing stock control movements
- Liaising with other departments to ensure good availability
- Analysing and acting on data to aid with planning
- Conducting inventory audits
- Maintaining close supplier relationships and competitive pricing exercises
- Ensure materials are available when required
- Report and maintain stock movements, variances and kpi’s for regular review
- Monitor budgets and contracts with our supply chain
- Promote best practices and look to make a positive contribution to the team

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years experience as a buyer, stock controller or similar
- Demonstrable supply chain and inventory management skills
- To have a can-do attitude and tackle any issues head-on
- Be well organised with excellent time management

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:
