Edgbaston, United Kingdom Neptune Europe Full time

Edgbaston - Permanent, part-time

**The role**:
We are looking for a part time (24 hours per week) Home Specialist to join our Edgbaston team and provide a premium customer service experience to all our customers through their in-depth product knowledge and passion for great design and interiors.

Responsibilities include:

- Creating a welcoming environment that makes customers want to visit regularly
- Identifying customer needs and use product knowledge to help choose suitable products
- Processing sales and communicate information accurately
- Being able to respond to queries on product's price, features and benefits
- Assisting in the health and safety, cleanliness and security of the store
- Supporting colleagues and working together as a team
- Being a brand ambassador for Neptune

Although this role is part time, our stores are open 7 days a week and so it's important that you'll have flexibility to work during the week and at weekends also.

Neptune Edgbaston sees the restoration of a three-storey, red-brick Edwardian property on the bustling Harborne Road. We've saved the few original features that remained, such as the double-doored entrance (which joins to become one welcoming hallway) and the large bay windows, and have replicated the ones that have been lost, including cornicing, skirting and fireplaces. We also commissioned a traditional cut-string staircase with brass inlays and a solid oak banister to sit at the building's heart. And towards the rear, a glass-wrapped terrace makes a sensitively modern addition.

**What Benefits we can offer you**
- Competitive salary
- Generous Holiday Allowance
- Life Assurance
- Company sick pay
- Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
- Cycle to work scheme
- Generous Neptune new item and outlet discounts
- Perkbox: Wellbeing Hub and Retail Discounts Portal
- Your birthday day off
- Two paid volunteer days a year
- Day off if you become a Grandparent
- A week off to celebrate a life event
- Refer a friend scheme
- Long service holiday allowance increase
- Training Workshops

**Across all locations, we stay united by our company values: Do The Right Thing, Do It Together, Aim High and Keep It Real.**

We're an equal opportunities employer; our mission is to welcome everyone and create inclusive teams, with all colleagues and applicants afforded the same opportunities. We encourage everyone to join us and be themselves at work, in an environment that actively promotes equality, diversity and inclusion and where everyone's voices are heard.

**Our Story**
Founded in 1996 by friends John Sims-Hilditch and Giles Redman, Neptune design and make pieces for your whole home. Recognised for our exacting standards, design-led aesthetic and expert craftsmanship, we're perhaps most known for kitchens - with heirloom-worthy dressers not far behind. Neptune's trademark 'look' is British: refined, simple, sturdy, and with an almost obsessive attention to detail. We're also respected for our commitment to craft and quality. Put simply, we make things we're proud of, and that are designed to last a lifetime.
