Teaching Personnel are working alongside a Secondary school in Bury to aid them in recruiting a **Music Teacher** starting in January 2023 until the end of the spring term, with the potential to extend further.
- **Full-time temporary Music role.**:

- Teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Pay in line with teaching scale point**(£28,000 - £43,685 per annum)**:

- **Supporting students at various levels of learning**:
Working as a Music Teacher in our client school, responsibilities will include:

- **Support with the development of Schemes of Work** in line with the National Curriculum for Music
- **Assessing and evaluating class work reporting back to Senior Teachers** in order to take appropriate action to support pupils in meeting their aims and objectives
- Planning, preparing and **deliveringMusic lessons** to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning
- **Guiding pupils with challenging behaviour** or learning difficulties and implement strategies to help manage this behaviour
- **Promoting positive behaviour management skills** amongst pupils and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies

Our client Secondary school is looking for a Music teacher who can aid pupils’ attainment alongside providing behaviour management skills. Our client school does provide behavioural support for their staff; however, **any experience with behaviour management training, challenging behaviour or learning difficulties will be highly valued**.

Our client secondary school is located in Bury and can be accessed via the M66 and A58 from surrounding areas such as Bolton and Salford. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from surrounding areas including Bolton, Salford andcentral Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
