Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Analytical Chemist to join their team in Hertfordshire.

- 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday

Our client is a pharmaceutical testing GMP laboratory based in Watford, Hertfordshire. They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Analytical Chemist to join their team.

Your responsibilities will involve:

- Analysing samples under a cGMP environment
- Using analytical techniques and instrumentation, such as Gas Chromatography (GC) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), ion chromatography, dissolution, and spectroscopy (infrared and ultraviolet, amongst others)
- Reporting accurate scientific results
- Using a range of analytical techniques, instrumentation, and software
- Working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Bachelors or equivalent degree in pharmaceutical science or chemical science
- A minimum of 1 years hands on industrial experience using a HPLC system (preferably in a GMP environment)
- A work permit or approval to work in the UK for at least a minimum of 24 months
- A minimum of 3.5 years hands on industrial experience using a HPLC system, preferably in a GMP environment.
- A good understanding of interpreting data and adhere to strict guidelines when recording data
- A good understanding and ability to handle OOS/OOT
