Pot Washer/waitress

We are currently seeking a suitable individual to complete our Restaurant and Coffee Shop Team.

As part of our kitchen team, duties will include;
- Washing and replacing crockery and cutlery
- Clearing off tables in the front of house when required
- responsibility for the cleaning and tidying of the pot wash areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

There will also be a element of Front of house work which include activities such as,
- Serving food/drinks to customers
- Ensuring customers have a great experience within our Restaurant and Garden Centre
- Engaging with clients, pre-empting any requirements along with responding swiftly to any specific requests
- Taking customer payments
- Cleaning of thee kitchen and serving areas and high standards are maintained.
- Be flexible in your approach and a strong team player.
- Be able to remain calm under pressure.
- Due to our rural location own transport is required due to no public transport available

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of basic food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneousl
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

Note: This position may involve standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: Up to £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 40 per week
