**Job Title: SQL BI Developer
Location: Peterborough 1 day / Home 4 days

**Salary**: £50,000 to £56,000

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global manufacturing company and develop globally scaled BI projects utilising the Azure Data service. The right person will be a key player alongside the technical lead in driving the BI technology road-mapfor the business.

Through innovations and creative thinking, you will have the freedom to deliver real business, while utilising forward-thinking technologies.

You will also be a key person to help educate their analyst team on the art of the possible, helping them access data quicker, and assisting with insights through AI-type technologies to enhance the quality of their sights while speeding up the deliverytime.

The role also provides excellent opportunities for career development with clear succession paths to lead BI developer, cross-training into a Digital COE, progression into more specialist areas such as Data Science or Data Stewardship, and the great opportunityto move within a large group within the UK or abroad.

You would work from home every day apart from Tuesday when the team meet up in the office in Peterborough.

**What are we looking for**:
We would expect you to have worked within a Microsoft SQL Server Development role (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS), data management solutions to internal customers, and B2B.

Ideally, you will also have worked within a well-defined data warehouse, Data Lake or Data Verse

Any exposure to working with Web technologies, such as APIs for data extraction would be very welcome.

This is not a report-writing role but a true BI development one, where you will be providing data sets utilising your extensive skills in SQL.
