At Northern, we aim to develop and champion excellence in not only our services but also our people. We are currently looking for a Service Request & Billing Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the fulfilment of Service Requests logged to the Information Systems Service Desk in a timely fashion and providing communication throughout the process. The team are based in York but we offer Hybrid working with an expectation to be in the office at least 2 times a week to facilitate deliveries or handovers. There may also be a requirement to travel to other locations on our network. The role is moderately technical and training will be provided so you will need a positive ‘can do’ attitude with enthusiasm and willingness to learn. You will also need to find the answers to questions using your own initiative and available resources, or by drawing upon the skills of your peers/colleagues.

**Role Responsibilities**

Your main duties will be:

- General administration of non-technical Service Requests logged on our IS Helpdesk,
- Accurate creation and maintenance of records in the IS Helpdesk system and other relevant systems (Active Directory, MDM, Supplier Systems).
- Administration of IS support, maintenance, recurring costs and license renewals.
- Administration of procurement activities related to Service and Purchase Requests.
- Management of IS Hardware stock.
- Monitoring and analysis of mobile telephone estate.

**About You**

In this role you should be able to demonstrate the following skills, abilities, behaviours, and attitude:

- Excellent time management skills, while being able to prioritise administration tasks with non-technical queries and user education requests.
- Experience in building a positive rapport with customers quickly
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to operate in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
- Any IT or ITIL qualifications are desirable.
