An excellent and rare opportunity for a competent and experienced bursar to join our office team. This post is due to retirement.

You will be working at our award-winning nursery school in Altrincham.

The position is part-time, 12 hours per week (either two short days, or three mornings), with four weeks holiday a year (pro rata). A self-employed individual would also be considered.

As Bursar, you will take a pivotal role coordinating and being responsible for book-keeping, cash-flow management, financial records, organising and amending collection of monthly fees by Direct Debit, paying invoices etc (salaries not included as these are outsourced).

A proven aptitude for figures is required, together with experience of online banking, analysing accounts, bank reconciliations etc.

Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word is essential and of Kashflow accounting would be advantageous.
