**The Job You’ll Do;**
- Account Management is a core part of the role and centres on management, maintenance and development of a small number of customer accounts. This is very much a customer-facing aspect and frequent contact with customers is expected.
- Ensure commercial agreements are kept in place - LTA
- Prepare quotations, Negotiate prices & Support customer enquiries
- Actively pursue new work
- Maintain costs levels appropriate to market levels
- Maintain communication links with customers
- Develop business links with customers
- Pursue the development of commercial opportunity - develop product cost (quote) v actual cost to manufacture
- Introduction and implementation of new projects under the direction of the Commercial Manager. The main extent of this aspect of the role.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the principles of tooling; the process; part design and materials
- Assess the technical and commercial requirements of customer enquiries
- Lead in the management of sub-contract tooling and material suppliers
- Lead in the New Product Introduction process running projects from release of purchase order to process handover to production of the required product to the required specification at the required cost
- Attend product and tool reviews internally and externally at customer and supplier
- Assist and participate in tool and process development activities

- Relevant Qualifications to suit the needs of the role.
- Technical and commercial understanding.
- Experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- An understanding of tooling, injection mouldings
- Enthusiastic to learn and develop long term within the organisation.
- Career orientated individual.
