**Location**: Alva, Clackmannanshire

**Job Type**: Permanent contract, 20 - 25hrs per week, Mon-Fri only

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour plus bonus

The company install and maintain specialist gas systems and laboratory equipment via their engineering teams. They have a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative to support their on the road gas engineers. This role will involve a large variety of tasks that willall help support the engineers in carrying out their work. Experience working in a warehouse, or an engineering environment would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.

**Main responsibilities will include:**
- Return items to stock after engineers’ return from site.
- Assisting in the loading and unloading of vans using manual handling techniques.
- Basic van maintenance eg. checking tyres/oil/screen wash/cleaning.
- Receiving deliveries from couriers.
- Replenishing engineering consumables into kits.
- General warehouse sweeping and cleaning.
- Assisting with stock check - stock counting and location checks
- Using our computer systems to upkeep necessary records and reports
- Picking orders from stock ready to ship to customers.

**Essential:**
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- A flexible attitude to work
- Good all-round communication skills

**Desirable:**
- Driver’s licence - for moving vans around the car park
- Previous experience within a warehouse environment
- Previous manual handling training or experience
