Long Ashes Park is located in Threshfield, in the picturesque Wharfdale Valley. We are looking for a motivated, friendly leisure centre assistant to join our team. This varied role includes working in The Woodland Café where we offer guests a variety of hot and cold drinks, light bites, pizza, cakes and a delicious afternoon tea, supporting the reception team when required as well as carrying out pool checks and helping with cleaning and laundry duties. Evening and weekend working will be required.

**Main duties**
- To meet and greet customers.
- To take and prepare food and drink orders.
- To serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
- To prepare drinks and food including assisting the kitchen with preparing food when required - afternoon tea preparation, sandwiches, toasties etc
- To provide a welcoming atmosphere for customers to relax and enjoy their visit.
- To operate the till system, including inputting orders and processing payments.
- To maintain a clean and tidy environment.
- To carry out routine checks on the swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym and update the records accordingly.
- To maintain vigilance over the swimming pool.
- To check and clean the changing rooms and toilets every 2 hours.
- To help with the spa laundry.

**Skills and Attributes Desired**:

- Must work well in a team.
