**The role**

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in our Finance team's success? We are seeking a dynamic Credit Controller to join our team and support the control of our customer ledgers. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:

- Build strong relationships with our customers’ finance teams both in the UK and overseas.
- Ensure accurate customer records by updating accounting contact information and ensuring payments terms are correct
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales, warehouse, logistics, and customer service & sales team ensure customer invoice queries are dealt with promptly.
- Respond to relevant customer invoice and delivery queries, working with the customer service team to resolve.
- Putting customers on stop and liaising with the sales team regularly on any proforma accounts
- Support the finance team on other tasks and cover where required.
- Assist with Debtor reporting and KPIS
- Raising ad hoc customer invoices
- Create any new customer accounts and follow credit limit checking process. Ensure existing customer credit limits are accurate.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Proven experience in Credit Control of both UK and overseas customers and working within a small finance team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience accounting software. (sage 200 desirable but not essential)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
