**Duties**:

- Provide support and assistance to individuals in need, including individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform and support with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Accompany clients to arranging and attending appointments and outings
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors or healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation
- Promote a fulfilling life for service users
- Collaborate closely with vulnerable adults, staff, families, and professionals
- Attend relevant training sessions
- Implement and respond to Safeguarding policy and guidance

**Requirements**:

- Health and Social care NVQ level 2
- Health and Social care NVQ level 3 (Desired)
- Previous experience in a similar role (Extremley desired; comprehensive induction and ongoing training will be provided)
- Knowledge of first aid and positive behaviour support (Desired)
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work weekends

Please note that this position will require working with vulnerable populations, therefore a background check **will** be required.

**Hours & Rate of Pay**:
5 days over a 7-day period, with varying shift patterns as agreed with the manager.
Day and Night shifts - Sleep ins.
Up to £12.50 p/h.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
