**Secondary Teaching Assistant**

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant at our local Greenwich Secondary School. The school is located in attractive rural surroundings and provides excellent opportunities for young people. Our students engage fantastically in lessons, and their attitude for learning is exemplary and reflected in their achievements. Our education teams are committed, motivated and welcoming, and proud to be part of a consistently high achieving school that fully supports its staff.

You will be expected to
- Deliver small group interventions and work alongside class teachers to raise the standards of student achievement
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people in accordance with good practice
- Experience of working within a similar environment is essential although training can be provided for an applicant wishing to gain experience in this field.
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or higher or Graduate
- The successful applicant will demonstrate high levels of motivation and have the ability to engage, lead and inspire students to raise standards along with delivering effective outcomes for all students.

Important information about the Teaching Assistant role:

- This will be a full-time role for the entire academic year
- £85 - £100 per day
- Immediate or January start

**Salary**: £85.00-£100.00 per day

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Greenwich, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
