Job Introduction
**Job Title: Engagement Officer**
**Location: Working remotely with occasional national travel and overnight stays as required**
**Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience**

**Hours: 9am -5pm Monday - Friday**

**Your role at Prestige**:
You will help to drive and deliver our key Engagement & Retention plans and your initial focus will be to support new colleagues at the start of their journey with Prestige Nursing & Care. Working closely with the Workforce and Culture Team and local Operational colleagues, you’ll ensure a smooth onboarding and training experience to support our new colleagues as they join the business.

Helping to design and gather key data around our new colleague’s joining experience you will work with our Engagement Lead to drive improvements around new colleague retention, enabling us to provide well-led and safe care to those we support. This role will be key to ensuring that we place our clients and colleagues at the centre of everything we do.

Main Responsibilities

**Responsibilities**:

- Contacting new colleagues within twenty-four hours of a successful interview to congratulate and welcome them, offering impartial liaison and guidance and the ability to quickly build a warm, professional relationship
- Consistent and regular contact with new colleagues, to promote trust and to embed a sense of belonging to Prestige Nursing & Care from the outset
- Offering advice and support to those completing the initial stages of onboarding, positively impacting their time in the process, and ensuring they are ready to work as soon as possible.
- Maintaining regular contact with branch colleagues to enable the branch to plan for new colleagues joining their teams and to communicate new starter details
- Sending out Welcome Cards to all new colleagues as they complete their onboarding and induction
- Promote new starter ‘news’ across our social media platforms in line with our marketing strategy
- Maintain regular contact with new colleagues to address any issues arising as they deliver their first three months of care
- Collect individual new starter feedback at key points in the journey, recording comments for circulation to key stakeholders
- Identify trends/themes from new starter feedback to support Regional and National reporting on engagement and retention.
- Proactively promote our ‘Refer A Friend’ incentive ‘Prestige Plus’

**Essential Skills**:

- At least 2 years’ experience in a pacey, fast-changing environment, ideally customer or client focused
- Experience in building positive relationships with variety of key stakeholders
- Strong background in administration
- Outstanding people and communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with ease
- Flexible can-do attitude and the ability to work autonomously, juggling competing priorities

**Desirable Skills**:

- Knowledge of the Health and Social Care Sector
- IAG level 2, or willingness to work towards
