My client is a fast growing software house based in Alderley Edge, a short walk from the train station and with parking on site so easy to get to via public transport or by driving.

They are looking for an IT support exec to join their team. They are happy to consider someone with IT support experience or alternatively someone with a customer service background and a desire to build a career within the IT sector.

Hours of work are 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday. You will be required to complete 4-6 weeks office based training, and will then revert to 1 day per week in the office (typically a Tuesday) and the rest of the working week from home.

The role will involve:

- To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
- To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues
- To log all calls on the call logging system and maintain full documentation
- Respond to enquiries from clients and help them resolve any software problems (including OS issues)
- Maintain a log of any software bugs / vulnerability’s and report back to line manager
- To support a wide variety of users in the use of our products.
