12 Month FTC, Senior Management Accountant, Advertising Agency, Central London, £55,000
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to join one of the most recognisable advertising agencies in London. Reporting to a Financial Controller and working in a larger team of 15, this role will suit someone looking for a fast pacedand autonomous opportunity.
Key Responsibilities Reporting
- Oversee the preparation of the month end P&L for Actuals and Flash
- Overseeing the preparation and submission of the Balance sheet at month end, including preparing a detailed accruals reconciliation and quarterly b/sheet commentary
- Work with the Financial Controller on quarterly presentation decks for the CFO review meeting
- Preparation of the Enablement P&L including commentary for variances to forecast/budget
- Ensuring all foreign exchange transactions are appropriately accounted for in the reporting process
- Cashflow forecasting the foreign currency accounts monthly
Other Responsibilities
- First point of contact for Group on a day-to-day basis for management reporting
- Assisting the Financial Controller in preparing any regulatory information to Group as requested i.e., information for VAT return, PSA return and tax packs
- Assistance with all audits including working closely with the Compliance Manager to ensure we are fully compliant
- Approving Payments, Expenses and POs as required
- Communications to the wider Finance Community and Business regarding deadlines and reminders
- Ensuring all foreign exchange gains and losses are appropriately accounted for
A bit about you:

- Newly qualified or nearly qualified - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- 4+ years previous experience of working in a Finance team
- Experience of managing staff
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive and inquisitive approach at all times and, a desire to contribute to continual improvements to processes and working methods
- Effective organisational and time management skills
- Positive, solution driven individual who works well under their own initiative
- Be a natural team-player capable of participation at all levels.
- Media industry experience or project-based service industry
