Marina Operative

**Marina Operative and Office Assistant required to work evenings in line with Rota.**

**Usually 12 hours, 4 days on/off**
- Conduct pontoon patrols across each dock, ensuring vessels are securely moored, decking is clear of trips/slips and no unauthorised personnel are on site.
- Oversee the management of our CMS ensuring all data is updated regularly, clean and uncorrupted.
- Conducting boat checks, counts and transferring data to Harbour Assist.
- Dealing with new berthing enquiries promptly, liaising with the Marina Manager on locations and adding them to Harbour Assist & Xero once converted.
- Welcome visiting vessels with a welcome pack, access card and tour of Marina.
- Assist vessels on entry, guiding vessels to berths, tying up and securing vessels.
- Advise management on customer communication updates.
- Onboarding new customers; raising contracts & terms, repeating invoices and gathering all required documentation (I.D, proof of address & insurance).
- Act as night watch to the marina; walking pontoons, conducting health & safety checks, completing stock checks.
- Taking payments over the phone and ensuring all CC payments are recorded on Xero.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 60 per week

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 3 years (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 3 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
