Stores Co-ordinator

**Duties**:

- Control stock using IT based stock control system
- Ensure that incoming deliveries are signed for and checked against purchase order detail.
- Stock to be placed in stores or correct area
- Pick Stock for all jobs ready for engineer
- Ensure that all outgoing deliveries are sent as required to remote engineers
- Ensure that all Van stocks are up to date and vehicles checked for are stock and equipment as per engineering schedule
- Deliveries to site as required in UK

**Skills**:

- Excellent Organisational and Administration Skills
- GSCE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths & English
- IT Literate (MS Office) and ability to learn bespoke systems
- Experience within a similar role
- Full UK Clean Driving licence (inc. towing)

**Role accountabilities**:

- Organise and manage stores to ensure maximum efficiency and usability.
- Continuously monitor stocks and maintain stock levels to the agreed standard.
- Order, store and compile items required for fulfilment of jobs on time and in full.
- Reduce existing stock in line with objectives. Identify old stock and means of disposal through sales.
- Deal with all deliveries and place in designated area, ensuring all receipts are as ordered and quality acceptable
- Returns / Repairs / Warranty issues are to be returned to Suppliers weekly and to be correctly labelled and packaged, Keeping up to date records and following up on outstanding
- Maintain stock areas in accordance with locations on Opera and Min/Max Stocks
- Complete regular stock takes as laid out in the Stock Action Plan
- To carry out two 10% stock counts per month within stores and to the Procurement / Stock Coordinator’s plan.
- To carry out two engineers per month Van stock take as to the Procurement / Stock coordinator’s plan.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and processed as required by Planning team
- Monitor and manage reject stock through non-conformance process as required.
- Ensure Stock is ready for installs and faults and ready in designated areas for engineers to collect at beginning of each wee
- Ensure that remote engineers have minimum stock levels maintained
- Ensure that parts are dispatched directly to site to reduce time wasted with engineers at suppliers
- Ensure stock room is secure with limited access at all times
- Stock KPI’s
- Keep systems updated on latest pricing from suppliers.
- Manage suppliers to ensure best pricing, deliver high standard of customer service whilst minimising number of providers.
- When required collect and deliver parts from supplier to site as required by engineering team
- Answer incoming telephone calls and where necessary, re-directed to appropriate department.
- Observe all safety rules and procedures, ensuring that the work area, equipment and materials are left in a safe state; and that reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of all fellow employees and any other persons within the work area.
- Work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.
- Carry out and comply with all company policies, procedures and instructions and any other reasonable duties deemed necessary by the company.
