Joiner / Carpenter

Duties-Competent Joiner/Carpenter required for busy nationwide company.

MEC Fire Services LTD require a Joiner/carpenter for immediate start to carry out the manufactor and insulation of fire doors in a number of London schools and nation wide hotels. Works will be carried out between 7.30am-4.30pm.

DBS Check required.

**Salary**: £20-£30 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Day shift

Work Location: In person

Edit
- Assemble and fabricate wooden components according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine measurements and materials needed.
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials using hand tools and power tools
- Install cabinets, doors, windows, stairs, and other wooden fixtures
- Repair or replace damaged wooden components
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling large or bulky materials
- Strong carpentry skills for constructing and repairing wooden structures
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools for woodworking tasks
- Ability to assemble and fabricate wooden components accurately
- Knowledge of power tools used in joinery work
