**Account Handler - Commercial Liability Insurance - About the role**
My client are looking for motivated Commercial Insurance Consultants to join their growing team based in in their offices in East London.
They have specialisms in Construction, Liability, Shops, Licensed Trades and arrange insurance either directly with policyholders or via other insurance brokers.
**Account Handler - Commercial Liability Insurance - Key requirements**
Dealing with General Commercial Insurance ( i.e. Liabilities & Properties) both roles require the delivery of excellent customer service within the commercial and regulatory systems set by the company.
Outline duties for the roles detailed below:
Taking ownership of the renewal book, adhering to any processes and deadlines provided
Handling new business enquiries by taking information from customers and obtaining quotations from insurers
Effectively analyse client needs and develop solutions.
Putting forward new business tenders to customers and chasing for instructions.
Dealing with client policies throughout the entire renewal cycle, placing cover on the best terms possible (in line with both Contract Certainty and Treating Customers Fairly)
Mid-term servicing, including the production of official policy documentation
Develop and sustain relationships with customers
Demonstrate confident and efficient telephone skills
Making outgoing telephone calls to existing and prospective customers
Ensure adherence to the company compliance, systems and procedures at all times
Respond promptly to client queries and ensure that all communications with customers and/or insurers or other business contacts are accurately recorded (in writing)
**Account Handler - Commercial Liability Insurance - Key requirements**
- Insurance industry background (ideally with Commercial)
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance and sales
- Worked in a similar role previously (telephone and face-2-face sales experience)
- Good attention to detail and can multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin
