**Activities Coordinator**

**Mill Lane, Felixstowe**

**£10.75 per hour**

**24 hours per week (includes alternate weekends)**

**Shift times: 10:00am - 4:00pm**

Healthcare Homes are recruiting for an Activities Coordinator to join our team at Mill Lane in Felixstowe.

Our Activities team are fundamental to the residents’ sense of wellbeing and social enhancement. You will ensure the activities schedule in the home plays a key part in ensuring the routines and daily activities they undertake are varied, stimulating and fun. The role really enables you to bring out your creativity, adapting activity programmes that respect individuals needs while also establishing links with the local community to encourage their involvement and increase social interaction.

Mill Lane specialises in residential, nursing and dementia care for the elderly living in Suffolk. The home has a warm and homely atmosphere from the minute you walk through the door and it has an enviable reputation within the local community for its high quality care.

**About Mill Lane**:
You can find Mill Lane situated in the Old Town residential area of Felixstowe in Suffolk. The home itself was opened in 1976 and was previously the local doctor’s surgery. We provide Residential, Nursing, Respite, Dementia and Palliative care for elderly people.

Communication is key in this home and the management team host regular team meetings to ensure that everyone is involved with the day-to-day running of the home.
