We are looking for a **Graduate Surveyor** to join our team on a **permanent basis** with the primary responsibility of ensuring we continue to deliver quality homes and services to our residents. This role will work closely with our small professional team of property surveyors enabling you to gain hands on support and experience. As well as day to day tasks you will be supported financially to broaden your professional knowledge and work towards gaining professional qualifications required to be a surveyor.

**Normal working hours are Monday to Thursday, 9am-5pm and Friday, 9am-4.30pm.**

PFH is embracing agile working so we can do our best work in a place that provides the best outcome for our customers and residents, and we have the IT infrastructure in place to support this with the use of Microsoft 365 and Teams

It is envisaged, that this role will, following a period of supervision, development and delivery offer the opportunity for you to work from another location including home if suitable for up to 2 days a week.

Key responsibilities include working closely with the surveying team to:
- Undertake stock surveys, deliver planned maintenance, repairs and carry out pre and post inspections on our properties.
- Develop the necessary skills to enable you to carry out resident consultations on proposed works, manage our contractors, manage small scale projects and to effectively ensure property compliance.

We are realistic, as a recent graduate we do not expect you to have vast amounts of work experience, but we would like you to:
- Be a recent graduate (within the last 2 years) with a degree (minimum 2:1) preferably in a construction related degree although other disciplines will be considered.
- Hold a clean driving license and have use of a vehicle with the ability to travel throughout the Hull area.
- Be passionate and interested in pursuing a rewarding professional career as a surveyor and a desire to undertake professional studies to support this.
- Have an interest in buildings, how they are designed, constructed and maintained and sustainability, energy, safety and innovation.
- Have an interest in social housing and a desire to supporting others.
- Have excellent IT skills to embrace digital developments and utilise them in improving the service.
- Have experience of researching and analysing data and producing reports.
- Have some work experience involving delivering a service to customers and / or within a construction related role is desirable.
