Every Future Foundation is a non-profit with the mission to eradicate racism in all its forms through educational programmes for young people and their educators. Our workshops combat institutional racism and all kinds of racial prejudice by educating the next generation and providing them with the tools to become change-makers.

Our 1st mission is to educate all children and teachers across the UK on racial equity and developing inclusive classrooms, we do this in the form of anti-racism school workshops and teacher training workshops.

Our 2nd mission is to nurture and train young leaders to become anti-racism activists. We are going to initiate an activism incubator programme in January 2023.

We are looking for a **Freelance Workshop** **facilitator** to deliver a variety of **anti-racism workshop**s across London for students and staff. We are working with Year Groups 3-12.

**The Role**

We are a small team so the facilitator will be the face of the charity when we do workshops in the schools. The workshops will vary from
- In-School Student Workshops
- INSET Teacher Training Workshops
- Groups of 30-60 young people will typically be in our workshops (so you should be comfortable working with groups of this size).

The role of the facilitator will be to teach and inspire **We will provide course content and a guideline for the facilitator to follow but we are looking for someone to put their own stamp on it and use their lived experiences to relate to the young people in the sessions.**

Your role will include learning the course content and being able to present it to various groups of young people and their teachers.

**Details**:
This is a freelance position - so we will book workshops with at least 3 weeks' notice and send you the details of the workshop to attend. **Most of our workshops will be within London, but occasionally travel outside of London will be required (in this case, we will arrange travel for you). **A typical day will run from 8:30 am - 4 pm. You must have regular availability to take on workshops with advanced notice.

**Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate anti-racism workshops for students and teachers in schools
- Foster an engaging, safe and inclusive environment for participants to share their experiences and perspectives
- Take feedback from school staff after the workshops and inform and improve the workshops accordingly

**Skills and requirements**:

- Have 2 to 3 years of experience as a facilitator, preferably in DEI/anti-racism/anti-discriminatory work
- Have experience working with young people as well as adults
- Be passionate about anti-racism and developing equal and inclusive schools
- Bundles of energy You will be teaching large volumes of kids in back-to-back sessions, so contagious energy is important.
- Are able to work freelance and grow your hours as we grow our workshops.
- Be confident leading small and large groups
- Comfortable with flexible hours
- Excellent communication and time-management skills

**Reporting to**: School Partnerships Manager

**Schedule**:

- 4-8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Facilitator: 2 years (required)

**Licence/Certification**:

- Enhanced DBS Certificate (highly preferred)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 10 per week

**Salary**: £200.00 per day
