**The Role**:
M&G are looking for a Project Manager to onboard mandates awarded to M&G plc. The team are looking for an experienced Project Manager with Agile experience with previous experience at an Asset Manager. This is a great opportunity to work in a role that contributesenormous value to the company and offers valuable experience with senior stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities for this role**:

- Motivate a multi-disciplined team of Public Debt (and/or external) stakeholders to ensure the project delivers on time and within budget.
- Ability to take a hands-on role within the project, working with fund managers and investment professionals.
- Manage senior stakeholders; and
- Build successful relationships with the project delivery partners, including external legal advice, fund administrator, trustee / custodian and auditor.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G's operational risk.

**Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- Project management experience within investment management with an understanding of different approaches.
- A proven track record of successfully leading on, and delivering projects within a front office environment, across a wide range of functions.
- Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal, with excellent active listening skills.
- Strong influence and negotiating skills with an ability to manage a variety of stakeholders.
- Willingness to work to tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects, considering evolving business priorities.
- Strong analytic and proven problem-solving skills with an ability to negotiate pragmatic solutions to meet conflicting business requirements.
- Highly motivated, proactive and resilient.
- Ability to be flexible and to manage ambiguity during project delivery.
- Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation, with strong relationship management skills and client relationship skills; and
- Good awareness of related regulations (e.g., UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID2 etc.).

Ideally, but not obligatory:

- IMC
- A project management qualification such as Prince 2
- Familiarity with Agile.

- Applies judgement to deliver outcomes, evaluating a range of potential solutions, considering the impact for customers, cost and risk

- Identifies and anticipates need for changes to continuously improve quality and efficiency of output
- Manages resources and risks using expert judgment, know-how and experience
