BRC are working with a large Housing Association who are looking for an experienced surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. Working from home and covering patches including Milton Keynes, Luton, Cambridgeshire and Bedford

1. Responsible for diagnosing the cause of general property disrepair in relation to condensation damp and mould in properties and specifying suitable remediation through a single or multi-stage approach

2. You will predominantly work from home with travel across Buckinghamshire including Luton, Bedford and Cambridgeshire

3. Survey repairs that have been requested by customers and carry out post inspections whilst delivering a first-class customer response service

4. Produce detailed reports concerning findings including options for remedial solutions with cost estimates and proposals regarding safe methods of works

5. Liaise and work with customers to support them with disrepair cases, offering remedial advice and support

6. Carry out property inspections, identifying building faults and arrange for repairs to be carried out by contractors

7. You will also be able to virtually carry out inspections for cases, offering customers advice and support

8. Attend meetings and contribute to performance reports
- Driver with access to own vehicle
- Knowledge and experience in repairs surveying, specifically damp and mould cases
- HNC in building construction or equivalent and qualification - Desirable
- Experience working in a social housing environment
- HND / HNC level in Building Surveying or equivalent construction related qualification (desirable)
