Reed Engineering are working with a bespoke machine manufacturer based in Harlow who are looking for a skilled Mechanical Production Fitter to join their team.
- Demonstrate 2 years of mechanical production build of large complex equipment from scratch to drawings / pneumatic diagrams
- Experience of above in glass / conveyor or food processing equipment industries.
- Experience of installation and / or commissioning and or testing of large complex equipment.
- 2 years’ experience of reading and working to complex engineering drawings with attention to detail.
- 5 years’ experience of typical mechanical skills including such things as marking out, drilling, tapping, cutting, etc.
- 2 years’ experience of working with and reading pneumatic diagrams.
- 2 years’ experience fitting motors / gearboxes / bearings / pipe work (Copper & UPVC) / drive shafts etc.
- Experience and appreciation of squaring and levelling machines.
